Information Meeting for Friends and Family
As a friend or family member, you can attend a free two-hour evening meeting hosted by two crisis workers. These information groups are small (usually no more than 10 people) and are made up of friends, colleagues, parents, etc.
The purpose of these meetings is to inform you about suicide and look at the following objectives:
- To talk freely about the problem and your needs
- To find concrete ways to help the suicidal person
- To benefit from the experience of other participants and to feel supported during this difficult time
- To learn about the different resources that are available
These meetings are for people who understand French. However, we can provide you with English documentation during the meeting. You can register by calling 514-723-4000. If you only speak and understand English, call us and we will refer you to another service offered in English.
